AGA Convention

Who from the NACS will be at the convention. Maybe we should plan a side meeting for one of the quiet hours of the convention.

If you've got bait, I've got wasabi!

That IS an aquascape, it's titled THE VACANT LOT.

I'm doing my best to make it this year. I haven't been since '04 when we hosted it.

When are y'all coming into town?

Is there anything you need a local to be doing as far as ground work? Oh, and yeah, I'll have a tank ready for crypts, so bring them on! I got permission from the mrs-to-be to put a terrarium up on the kitchen bar. 55g full of Cryptocoryne goodness.

I'll actually be arriving in Atlanta on Nov 8th. My mom lives in the area, so I'll be spending some time with her before the convention. I might even be able to drag her to the Aquarium Tour. So the current plan is arrive at the convention stomping grounds by the time of the tour on Friday.

I'm going to be there.

Are we going to have a mini Crypt convention? Maybe formally
set aside a 2-3 hour block and have some presentations. Any interest?

Just got off e-mail with the board and Larry Lampert. The convention has use of the Hospitality suite from 3PM Thursday. The crypt-keepers are quite welcome to use that space any time. There is nothing officially scheduled for Thursday night except for plant bagging.

Any update yet?

Have lots of fun - it's a pity that no NACS members can make it this year to the ECS meeting in Vienna. I'm going to send a crypt package though... ;)
Best wishes,
Kai

There appears to be enough interest - we'll try and organize it a little.

Kai - yeah I was really looking forward to attending again this year.
There's always next year I guess. Looking forward to your shipment!

Awesome!

I was really looking forward to going too, but with work right now it would have been a fly out Friday night, fly home Sunday trip which would have been a killer.

Kindest regards to all!

Cheers.

It sounds like we are having a Crypts round table in the hospitality suite on Thursday afternoon/evening. I'll be getting into town around 1 o'clock-ish. What does everyone else have as a schedule?
